Don’t miss the 41st Annual Sloan Museum Auto Fair, June 22nd & 23rd, 2013 at Flint Cultural Center Campus Flint, Michigan. The Sloan Museum Auto Fair is an exciting two-day car show with music, exhibits, family fun with activities for kids, entertainment, swap meet, craft vendors, food vendors, vehicles for sale, and 700 or more great automobiles on display! The show is held on the beautiful Flint Cultural Center Campus. All years, makes, models and descriptions are welcome so you will see every kind of car and truck you can imagine. We will be kicking off the Auto Fair weekend with a cruise to the Hot Dog Stand Friday evening.
Our 2013 feature cars will be Shelby and Dodge Shelby vehicles from every era. New this year is a lowrider class and exhibit. We also will be featuring a vintage motorcycle display. There will be something for everyone so be sure attend the Auto Fair!
During the Auto Fair the Sloan Museum and Buick Gallery will be open to all participants and spectators. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy rare collectable cars, take pictures, videos, and learn about Flint’s historic role in the automotive industry. Car enthusiasts of all ages, venders, and sponsors will want to be a part of this annual celebration of automobiles! All proceeds from the show go to restoring, acquiring and maintenance for the Sloan Museum auto collection and archives.
Friday, June 21, 2013 – Cruise to The Hot Dog Stand in Grand Blanc (Map)
5-8pm: Cruise participants need not be registered for the Sloan Museum Auto Fair. Parking will be at The Hot Dog Stand and in the huge Physicians Park, located behind The Hot Dog Stand. There is easy pedestrian access between the two parking areas. Dash plaques available for the first 200 cruise participants.

In case you haven’t heard yet, Metallica is coming to Detroit, Michigan this summer. This isn’t your normal Detroit-stop-on-tour concert; this is a two-day music festival on Detroit’s own Belle Isle. Metallica’s lead singer, James Hetfield, is a custom car aficionado himself. The festival will also feature a custom car and motorcycle show during the event. In 2012 James had two of his personal custom cars on display during the show. From what we’ve read about the 2012 festival, held in Atlantic City, NJ, custom car and motorcycle owners who’s vehicles were accepted to be on display received two free weekend passes to the event.
